Sheep-farming

 

On the island of Brac significant number of sheep is traditionally held and today there are even 30.000 sheep, which is the biggest number in the last 100 years. Sheep breeders are proud of their indigenous species - sheep pramenka, which has survived in the very poor ground without much water and food.


Goat cheese and curd are produced, a well-known Brac lamb is a special gourmet speciality.
